Two Alums Earn Prestigious Spots

Two ThreeSixty Journalism program alums, including 2022 ThreeSixty Scholar Gwynnevere Vang, are inaugural members of  The New York Times Corps. Vang is joined on the Times Corps roster by fellow ThreeSixty alum Faaya Adem. They are two of only 20 selected for this inaugural group out of hundreds of nationwide applicants.

“‘Wow!’ That’s what came to mind when I heard this news,” said ThreeSixty Executive Director Chad Caruthers. “What a tremendous opportunity for Faaya and Gwynnevere, and what a testimony to their skills and futures.”

The new Times Corps is a talent-pipeline program for college students to receive career guidance from Times journalists over a multiyear period,” according to the Times. Students will meet with their advisers throughout their undergraduate years.
