Winter 2022 News Team is 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on five Saturdays: Jan. 22 and 29, and Feb. 5, 12 and 19 on the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul campus.

The program is open to high school students and designed for students to be in attendance all five Saturdays. You’ll learn how to become an awesome interviewer and write a profile story inspired by the “Humans of St. Thomas” series with the support of journalists and other professionals.

ThreeSixty’s school-year News Team builds upon the multimedia skills learned in News Reporter Academy.

Learning Labs are taught by expert journalists and communicators. A school-year entry point for new students, Learning Labs are an opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment. Hone your writing and technical skills in journalism, digital media arts and strategic communications, and have fun doing it!

“I continued with ThreeSixty because I love writing, and they provide more than just writing skills, or ways to be a better writer, like career opportunities, school options and mentors that help you with whatever — even just a place where you can safely talk about what is going on around the world.” – Skyler Kuczaboski, ThreeSixty alumna.

“I’m eternally grateful for ThreeSixty and all the opportunities I have received because of it.” – Maya Shelton-Davies, ThreeSixty alumna and St. Thomas ’19.
