Mairead DeBruin, a sophomore at Avalon School in St. Paul, is a graduate of ThreeSixty Journalism’s 2012 fall NewsTeam. She enjoys reading, writing, drawing and listening to music (ask her about The Killers sometime.) Mairead also has an appreciation for creative learning environments and nifty Santa hats, which she chronicled in her first essay for ThreeSixty in the March 2013 issue.
