Op-Ed Writing Workshop

ThreeSixty’s Op-Ed Writing Workshop is Back!

This Fall, share your perspective on a current and timely issue – with guidance from professional journalists.

ThreeSixty’s Op-Ed Writing Workshop is an opportunity for Twin Cities high schoolers who have an interest in sharing their unique opinion. We welcome experienced and aspiring storytellers, writers, and journalists.

What to Expect
Over the course of 3 Saturdays, you will write an opinion piece that is ready to be published. Students receive guidance through prompts and facilitated brainstorming to select a timely topic of their choice. You are not expected to come ready with a topic.

Student opinion stories will be published on ThreeSixty’s website and annual magazine, as well as in local Twin Cities media outlets.

  • Learn how to write a structured, timely, and thought-provoking opinion story
  • Work closely with media professionals in all stages of writing, from drafting to fine-tune editing
  • Sharpen critical thinking, presentation, and youth leadership skills

Hallmarks of a ThreeSixty Journalist
