ThreeSixty’s Multimedia Storytelling Institute is back!
Interested in being part of the next generation of innovative, representative news? Have stories to tell? Join us July 2025 to dive into media and find truths and new perspectives.
ThreeSixty’s Multimedia Storytelling Institute is a three-week immersive experience where students will learn the fundamentals of journalism and narrative justice.
In partnership with the Center for Racial and Health Equity at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation of Minnesota, students will explore topics of addiction and recovery through the lens of health equity. Reporters will produce written and multimedia stories for professional publication.
- Engage in hands-on learning and journalism practice at the University of St. Thomas College of Arts and Sciences.
- Work side-by-side with professional mentors to complete projects, which will be published by media partners.
- Build your multimedia storytelling toolkit as you learn about all things ethical, technical and entrepreneurial!
The Multimedia Storytelling Institute is open to all Twin Cities high school youth. We are able to accept 15 students. Students are expected to attend all 3 weeks of programming.
Competitive applicants will have an interest in journalism, media, and community-based change. Curiosity, eagerness, and an open-mind are traits we look for–experience in journalism is not required!
Students will receive a stipend contingent on their full participation and completed work, including a print story and TV package. Stories will be published and/or aired by media partners and featured on the Center for Racial and Health Equity website.
