Eight ThreeSixty Journalism students hopped on a bus with the MPR News and American Public Media mentors to travel to North Minneapolis and meet the people behind Juxtaposition Arts on the second day of Radio Camp.
Students kicked off the day with a tour of the MPR newsroom, Classical MPR and met with Jill Riley and Brian Oake in The Current morning show studio. Students peeked in the control room and saw old radio equipment, learning how razor blades were an important tool for cutting and mixing stories years ago.
The students are working with an all-star team of mentors to record, write and edit their first-ever radio story.
