TV Camp: All About Anchoring

KARE-11 Anchor Adrienne Broaddus teaches ThreeSixty students how to film a stand-up.

Day Three of TV Camp took students to the University of St. Thomas College of Arts and Sciences studio to record their tracks and take turns at the anchor desk.

The students spent the morning learning how to finalize their scripts and record the tracks with help from KARE 11 Morning Anchor Gia Vang.

In the afternoon, students sat behind the anchor desks, filming anchor introductions to their classmates’ packages.

They received coaching from KARE 11 Anchor Adrienne Broaddus while they were on the desk and also in the classroom on shooting stand-ups, practicing with orange sunglasses.
