The 2019 Great MN Media Get-Together, ThreeSixty Journalism’s annual fundraiser, features award-winning Hmong-American writer Kao Kalia Yang and will be hosted by KSTP-TV 5 Eyewitness News Anchor Matt Belanger.
The event is Thursday, October 10 at James B. Woulfe Alumni Hall, Anderson Student Center at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Campus. More than 200 attendees, including ThreeSixty program alumni, media and communication practitioners, and St. Thomas officials will enjoy a program that showcases the program and its students.
“The Great MN Media Get-Together is an exciting opportunity to celebrate and support ThreeSixty, and the next generation of talented storytellers and leaders,” said ThreeSixty Journalism Executive Director Chad Caruthers. “All are welcome at this fabulous event.”
Longtime ThreeSixty advocate and former Star Tribune newsroom leader Duchesne Drew will be honored with ThreeSixty’s Widening the Circle Award. The annual award recognizes an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the next generation in media and communication, particularly while promoting inclusion and diversity.
