Maranda Gorr-Diaz, curently working with Starcom MediaVest Group, is a graduate of ThreeSixty’s 2009 summer camp. Maranda has worked as a digital analytics intern at Weber Shandwick in Chicago. While attending Columbia College in Chicago, she worked as an intern for Havas Media and Open Books Ltd. Maranda also was a scholarship recipient for a study abroad program in Wuhan, China, has been featured by the Columbia Chronicle as “Someone You Should Know” for work in marketing and journalism, and has been published in the Columbia Chronicle and Chicago Talks. “ThreeSixty, I can say honestly, changed my life. It provided me with the foundation I needed, to know what career path I wanted to pursue. Even though I went to school as a declared journalism major for two years, I graduated with a B.A. in marketing communications and a concentration in PR; minor in journalism. “I can use my journalism skills to tie perfectly in with my marketing asset, making my overall abilities a triple threat. I still have a passion for journalism and now I can utilize that skill, just in a different way. If I didn’t have the real world experience of the newsroom at ThreeSixty, I think I wouldn’t have found out marketing was a skill I had.”
