The excitement in The UBS Forum at Minnesota Public Radio News Friday was felt by all the ThreeSixty supporters, alumni, families, MPR and APM staff who crowded to hear the Radio Camp stories.
Eight students completed their stories featuring artists at Juxtaposition Arts, a nonprofit in North Minneapolis.
The stories aired in front of the audience, and students were all smiles hearing their hard work pay off.
Other Friday highlights included a photography lesson with Photographer Evan Frost, a fake news lesson from Digital Produce Sara Porter and a visit to Angela Davis’ show, MPR News with Angela Davis, where she talked about investigative journalism.
This Radio Camp celebration marks the end of ThreeSixty’s six weeks of summer camps. It is the third year MPR has partnered with ThreeSixty to host Radio Camp. The Radio Camp stories will be available online soon.
