Aamino Hirmoge, a senior at Harding High School in St. Paul, is a 2013 graduate of ThreeSixty’s Intermediate Journalism Camp. Gerard Way, formerly of My Chemical Romance, because his band is so influential and helpful to its fans on so many levels. What do you like about writing? I get to put my own thoughts and my own ideas in my work. And I’m able to write my own story. What issues are important to you? Cyber-bullying and the war in Somalia. What is your ideal future career? Either a journalist or a film director. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? London, because the whole Harry Potter world is based there! Also, because it’s a very pretty city. What do you do when you’re not at school? I would be reading a book or walking around my neighborhood. What else do you think people should know about you?
