Lexcia Merrifield, a sophomore at Wayzata High School, is a 2013 graduate of ThreeSixty’s Intro to Journalism Camp. She is interested in essay writing, specifically about the role negative pop culture influences can have on teenagers. Demi Lovato What do you like about writing? I like checking my spelling and grammar mistakes and just learning from that. What issues are important to you? Issues that are happening around the world, such as weather, the economy, animal abuse, housing problems and way more. What is your ideal future career? Architect. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would go to Colombia, because that is where I have most of my family that I do not know about and would like to learn more about my family tree. What are your special talents? I sing, act, and am a really fast learner. What do you do when you’re not at school? I go home and help my mom with my lil’ sisters. What else do you think people should know about you?
